Who we are

Merit Group (formerly Canadian Medical Publishing) provides medical writing, editing and publishing support. We are based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at info@canadianmedicalpublishing.ca or (416) 816-5093.

What we collect

• Information you give us through our request form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you’re interested in and a preferred time to be contacted.
• Information you give us by email, phone, WhatsApp or during a consultation.
• When you book a consultation, our booking provider (Calendly) collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.

This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request, arrange and deliver the services you ask for, send a guide you requested, and keep records we are required to keep. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Manuscripts and research data

Manuscripts, data and other materials you share for a project are kept confidential, used only for that project, and shared only with team members working on it.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and receive form submissions (Cloudflare) and to schedule consultations (Calendly). They process information on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and provide our services, and project records as long as required for business or legal purposes. Then we delete it securely.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw consent to our contacting you. Email info@canadianmedicalpublishing.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
